Contents: This book has seven chapters and twelve appendices. After a short historical introduction
it gives a physical description of the climate system, the model equations including atmosphere, ocean
sea ice, and river transport. Clouds and earth surface fluxes are discussed. The book goes on to
discuss some methods used to solve the modell equations, examples of solutions for the current
climate, climate sensitivity experiments, and potential developments beyond 2005.
Even though published nearly 20 years ago, this book is well worth considering.
