- Contents: This is in the Oxford "Very short" introductory books series. It has no equations and few chains of causality, but over 40 plots and an excellent set of references. It covers all the main topics including paleoclimatology, social aspects, the arguments against human induced global warming, the role of economics and the media, modelling, sea level rise, extreme events, the UN IPCC reports and projection scenarios and so on. It can be purchased very cheaply and is worth reading several times. If you don't read any other book on climate change from cover to cover, then please read this one.
